Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, protect and manage information provided through the BePacific website.
Effective 7 September 2026
1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Be Pacific Digital Agency Limited (“BePacific”, “we”, “our” or “us”) handles personal information collected through this website and through enquiries made using our contact details.
It applies to visitors, prospective clients and other people who communicate with us through the website. It does not replace privacy terms contained in a separate client agreement or project contract.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
When you contact us, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, organisation, project details and any other information you choose to include in your message.
Technical information
Our website is hosted on a Bluehost shared-hosting service. Bluehost and related security or infrastructure services may automatically record limited technical information such as your Internet Protocol address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages visited, date and time, server requests, and information connected with errors or attempted misuse.
Information from other sources
If you contact us through a social-media platform or another service, that provider may supply information in accordance with your settings and its own privacy terms.
3. How we use information
We may use personal information to:
- respond to questions and project enquiries;
- prepare proposals, quotations or other requested information;
- communicate about existing or potential services;
- operate, maintain, secure and improve the website;
- prevent misuse, fraud or security incidents;
- keep appropriate business and correspondence records; and
- comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests.
We do not sell personal information.
4. When information is shared
We use service providers to operate the website. These currently include Bluehost for shared website hosting and Google Analytics for website measurement and reporting. We may also use providers for email, security, backups and professional operations. These providers receive or process only the information reasonably required to perform their services.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to respond to a lawful request, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a genuine restructuring or transfer of the business. We do not disclose enquiry information to unrelated parties for their own direct marketing.
5. Storage and transfers
Information may be processed or stored by Be Pacific Digital Agency Limited, Bluehost, Google and other relevant providers in Papua New Guinea or in another country where a provider operates. This means website and analytics information may be transferred to or processed outside Papua New Guinea. We take reasonable steps to select reputable providers and limit disclosure to what is necessary for the stated purposes.
6. Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, for legitimate business records, dispute resolution, security, or legal and accounting requirements. Information that is no longer required may be deleted, anonymised or securely archived.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, loss or disclosure. No website, email service or online transmission can be guaranteed completely secure, so information should not be submitted through the contact form if it is highly sensitive.
8. Your choices
You may ask us to provide access to personal information we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, or delete information that is no longer reasonably required. Some records may need to be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
You may also ask us to stop non-essential marketing communications. Service-related replies and communications requested by you are not marketing messages.
9. Cookies and analytics
The website uses essential technologies needed for security, hosting and form functionality. It also uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the website.
Google Analytics may use first-party cookies and collect information about your browser or device, approximate location, pages viewed, interactions, referral source and visit timing. An Internet Protocol address is used during collection, but Google states that Google Analytics does not log or store individual IP addresses. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses or contact-form content to Google Analytics.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. You may also use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking essential technologies may affect website functionality.
We do not currently state that Google Analytics advertising or remarketing features are used. If those features or another advertising pixel are enabled later, this policy and the website’s consent controls should be updated before activation.
10. Children
This website is intended for organisations, professionals and general business audiences. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children through the website.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, website practices or applicable requirements change. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
